Every spring we have an Annual Spring Art Exhibit. It features the artwork of many of the GGAA members and local area artists.
Categories that are represented are: Watercolor, Oil, Pastel, Drawing, Mixed Media, Photography, Digital Art, Sculpture, and others. Participants are allowed four works and a miniature.
It is a three day exhibit with an Opening Reception, Awards, Raffle, and a "Popular Vote Award".
This year we are holding our 22nd Annual Spring Art Show in the Boland
Room located at 65 Lake St. in Gardner, MA. Our Opening Reception will
take place on Friday, April 16th from 7 to 9 pm with refreshments and awards
announced. The show will run on Saturday, April 17th from 12 to 5 pm and
Sunday, April 18th from 12 to 4 pm. Our show is open to the public with no
admission charge.
Artists who are not members and wish to participate may submit 4 pieces
of artwork and a miniature whose image size will be no larger than 4" x 6". There
is a twenty dollar entry charge and a two dollar hanging fee for each piece.
Students under the age of 25 years may submit 2 pieces of artwork for the
"Student Division". They are not eligible for the miniatures and there is a seven
dollar entry fee.

The "Women of Words", an Athol based writing group participated for 3 years
in a collaboration with the GGAA artists. Members of the writing group selected
a piece of artwork from our Spring Art Show to interpret in poetry.
